What is the current turnaround time for orders?
If you placed an order before 12/20/2020, you should've received an email in December with an updated shipping estimate. All orders placed on December 20th or later will ship by no later than the end of April!
Please note that the shipping estimates we've provided are windows, meaning we’re shipping new orders every day, and your order could arrive earlier than the estimate provided. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. All Backorders will ship by no later than the end of April.
Am I charged at the time of ordering or when my order ships?
All orders are charged at the time of ordering.
Why can I only add one item to my cart?
Sorry about this! Our system currently only allows one item to be added to your cart at a time, but you're free to place as many individual orders as you'd like. Most shipping is free, but if you do have to pay for shipping, this won't affect the costs — shipping is calculated per item, rather than per order.
Can I change the color of my order?
Sorry, in line with our policies in the past, order details like color and quantity cannot be changed to an order after purchase. The only way to make those edits would be to cancel your order and re-order in your desired color.
Can I cancel a Backorder for a full refund?
You bet. If you've changed your mind about your order, please visit your account page and click into the specific order. As long as your order hasn't shipped yet, a "Cancel Order" button will be available in the upper left side of the screen. Please note that it may take up to 1 hour for your order to appear in your account after placing your order. Cancelations cannot be reversed. Once a cancelation is processed, the funds will be released immediately, but may take 3-10 days for the credit to post to your account.
Can I change my address on a Backorder?
Yes, we’re happy to help with any in-state shipping address changes. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Shipping Address Change - Order #_____” and we’ll get it taken care of for you.
If you need to change your shipping address to an out-of-state address, you’ll need to cancel your order.
Is there a limit to how many items I can purchase?
Nope! Have at it! Each customer can order as many Nuggets and Cover Sets as they’d like. Please keep in mind that you’ll be charged at the time of ordering, not at the time of shipping.
Does purchasing a Backorder guarantee a Nugget?
Yes, placing a Backorder is a guaranteed way to get a Nugget. We can’t guarantee a shipping date, but it will leave Nugget HQ by 4/30/21.
Could COVID cause delays?
Yes. Every Nugget is assembled on-site in our North Carolina HQ, and the health of our staff is a top priority. As with any other estimate we've provided this year, our Backorder estimates are at the mercy of public health conditions that may change due to the coronavirus pandemic. If and when we believe these conditions could impact shipping timelines, we will make that clear to customers right away.
