Two Supportive Pillows

One Soft Cushion
The cushion may be the Nugget's thinnest piece, but without it, wall-climbers and cannonballers would be in for a rough landing. It's squishy and strong, so playroom superheroes can bounce back after big falls — just like the ones on TV.

No one likes to be on the bottom of the pile. Well, except for the base, that is. Down there it gets to provide stable, reassuring structure to the pieces above.

This was a bday gift for our 2 yr old grandson. I didn’t really “get” how he’d enjoy a piece of furniture, but he LOVES it! Building forts, jumping on it, sitting to read or watch tv. I highly recommend it!

Are there any rules for playing with the Nugget?
We know, we know... rules aren't always the most fun, but safety is at the top of our priority list. It's why all of our products go through extensive testing, long before they land on your doorstep. Nuggets make excellent forts, theatrical backdrops, cozy reading nooks, and so many more things that your kiddos will think of before we do... but, like many products for the little ones we love most, they should not be used without adult supervision.
Nuggets are meant for open spaces and should be used with caution on hard surfaces. If your Nuggeteer is extra adventurous, we highly recommend sticking with setups that are close to the ground, as the Nugget is made out of foam and is, by nature, a pliant and lightweight substance — the product should not be used as a launchpad or a jungle gym.
We created the Nugget to give Nuggeteers endless options for open-ended, imaginative play, but we are not responsible or liable for the use of our products outside of our factory.
Is shipping really free?

What comes in the box?
Each Nugget ships in a big orange box, and a full set is four pieces. The four pieces (two supportive pillows, one thinner soft seat cushion and one thicker sturdy base) are compressed and rolled tightly in the box — then shipped via Fedex right to your door. Every Nugget couch ships to you with fabric already on it, in the color of your choice!
Where can I buy a Nugget?
We value being able to pack and ship each Nugget here at Nugget HQ in Butner, North Carolina. Because we make and ship all Nuggets, the only place to buy a Nugget or a Nugget Cover Set is right here on our site.
Can I wash it?
With ease! Our microsuede is really durable, and machine washing works great — just unzip the covers from the foam and zip them back up before throwing in the machine. To preserve color, wash on the coldest setting on your machine with only Nugget pieces of the same color, and hang dry to prevent shrinking. We recommend using clear-color detergents like All's Free Clear. For the small stuff, you can spot clean with a moist cloth or a carpet/upholstery cleaning solution.
Do Nuggets ever go on sale?
Sorry, we don’t do big discounts or sales at Nugget. But it’s not all bad: keeping our price point consistent year-round allows us to pay our production staff a living wage, maintain our commitment to high-quality materials, and treat our customers fairly, past and present, no matter what time of year they purchased.
How long can I keep it compressed in the box?
Nuggets don’t like to live in their boxes, the sooner you can open up your Nugget the better. The Nugget travels to you tightly compressed and wrapped up like a foam burrito - but the longer it’s in there, the longer it will take to pop back to form and un-wrinkle, so we strongly recommend you open your box as soon as it lands on your front doorstep!

The cost of a Nugget varies depending on its fabric covering and collection type. Nuggets In our original, classic microsuede fabric are $249. Nuggets covered with our cozy, double-brushed microsuede are $269. Our luxe and textured corduroy Nuggets are $279. Collaboration Nuggets (limited release patterned prints) start at $279.
