This classic grounded navy comes in our double-brushed microsuede fabric which is brushed twice during production, resulting in a soft, luxe texture. The Playtime Playbook

  • Chunk is for ages 3+ years old for imagination, exploration, and adventure — not for sleeping!
  • There should never be heavy items on top of Chunk when someone is inside or underneath.
  • Push it, move it, or roll it from the living room to the playroom to the kids’ room — just keep play in open spaces, not on or around stairs, and use with caution on hard surfaces.

The creators of the famous Nugget®... have created the product’s little sister: an equally attractive, play-encouraging ottoman. “Real furniture can be a Trojan horse for a toy,” says Nugget CEO and co-founder David Baron. 

Nugget’s products embrace that idea, extending an olive branch to kids. Made of four circular, microsuede-covered foam parts with a modern look that blends in with adult furniture, users aged 3 and up can “nest” in Chunk’s parts, roll them around, or reconfigure them for “open-ended play,” Baron says.

    Endless Fun

    We've had the Chunk for about 3 months now and it has been endless fun! My girls (4 & 1) love playing with it. We find new, creative ways to play with it all the time. It also looks great as an ottoman when fully put together/not in play-mode. I did have an issue with some tearing at one seam but Nugget customer service was on top of it immediately and sent us a replacement cover for free. I really appreciate Nugget's customer care!

    Our second piece is just as fabulous as the first!

    We purchased the original play couch about 2 years ago and now added the Chunk for our newest Granddaughter and what a hit it is!

    Both girls love both pieces, and have a wonderful time creating forts and adventures with their parents and Grandpa!
