Alright, Nuggeteers! You ordered your Nugget® play furniture, it arrived on your doorstep… and there’s still time to go before the big reveal. 

Welcome to the really fun part of gifting a Nugget, Smore™, or Chunk®! There are so many creative ways to “wrap” your play furniture, and we’ve got loads of ideas for how to present your gift for the big reveal. (And if you’re wondering how you’re going to hide this not-so-small box from curious young Nuggeteers, don’t worry. We’ve got a few ideas.) Let’s dive in!

I don’t know where to start wrapping this thing. Any creative ideas?

Any ideas for getting creative if I’m giving a Nugget® gift card?

So glad you asked. We’ve got three fun ideas for you!

Our digital gift cards are delivered via email right after purchase, so start by printing out the email, and then print this free Nugget® activity sheet (with holiday-themed builds ready to be cut out into ornaments). You can wrap these up in a traditional gift box, or hide them in a stocking.

If you’re ordering a Nugget gift card so your young Nuggeteer can choose their own color, might we suggest adding a $10 set of Fabric Swatches to your cart? They’ll fit in a small gift box with your gift card print-out, and it makes picking a new favorite color a breeze!

Where should I hide Nugget® play furniture  until I’m ready to gift it?

Thankfully, many savvy Nuggeteers have had this question before you, and we’ve sourced some smart ways to store play furniture before the big reveal.

But first, a note about unboxing your play furniture: the Nugget®, Chunk®, and Smore™ are compressed for delivery. You can leave the Nugget in its box for up to eight weeks after delivery. Chunk is safe in its box for up to five weeks, and Smore for up to two weeks. 

To ensure a photo-worthy reveal, we recommend unboxing a few days before gifting to allow your play furniture time to pop back up to form. (Check out a timelapse video of the Nugget unboxing and decompressing process here.) Note: We accept returns for most unopened U.S. orders within 30 days of delivery. Exceptions include personalized products.

Here are some creative ideas for hiding your Nugget®, Smore™, or Chunk®:

• Under a bed
• At a friend or family member’s house
• In a closet
• Just under the covers of an unused, made bed — like this
