Meet a Nuggeteer: The Nug Fairy
While there are many roles on the Nugget Team, the Nug Fairy may hold the most unique one: fostering imagination, creativity, and play in Nugget culture, at HQ and beyond!
Nug Fairy, can you describe your job in a way that kids ages 1 to 101 can understand?
What’s the best part of your job?
I love to bring a bit of magic to the world ✨From surprising a Nuggeteer at HQ with a little surprise thank you for their hard work to showering Nuggeteers with gifts, my work fills my heart with joy! I know that we all have a part to play in building a more imaginative, creative, and playful world, and I try to bring my very own twirl to that task.
What’s your favorite Nugget color?
Ooh, I could never pick just one. Do you want to know what I do instead? I can change the colors of my wings, so whenever a new color comes out, I add it to my wings. Sometimes my wings are all of our bright colors, sometimes more subtle… and sometimes, I go for all blues. We all know how much we love blue at Nugget :)
What are your favorite builds?
Anything built by Nuggeteers. I love seeing imaginations at play! Please, always share your ideas with me, I adore smiling faces in creative builds.
What is your dream Nugget color and why?
Maybe this is a little vain, but a Nug Fairy Nugget would be delightful. I can’t visit every home, as much as I’d love to, so maybe a Nug Fairy Nugget would be like a little visit from me to you.
What’s the best way to get in touch with you, Nug Fairy?
While I spend a lot of time at Nugget HQ — I even have my very own entrance, just my size — the best way to reach me is Instagram! I flit around in our messages and read through comments, spreading good cheer and fun, and I love hearing from you there.
Can you come visit me at my home?
Oh, thank you for the invitation, that’s so sweet! When I do venture out of Nugget HQ to visit Nuggeteers at their homes, I never share exactly where I'm headed next — surprises are my favorite. I tend to visit homes where imagination and play are front and center, as well as my community-oriented friends who are acting with kindness and intention. Don’t worry if your home is a bit messy — that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. In fact, I’m not always the best about keeping my room tidy… I’m much more interested in the fun that lives at the intersection of possibilities, like combining toy and furniture!
