The Playtime Playbook

  • Chunk is for ages 3+ years old for imagination, exploration, and adventure — not for sleeping!
  • There should never be heavy items on top of Chunk when someone is inside or underneath.
  • Push it, move it, or roll it from the living room to the playroom to the kids’ room — just keep play in open spaces, not on or around stairs, and use with caution on hard surfaces.

The creators of the famous Nugget®... have created the product’s little sister: an equally attractive, play-encouraging ottoman. “Real furniture can be a Trojan horse for a toy,” says Nugget CEO and co-founder David Baron. 

Nugget’s products embrace that idea, extending an olive branch to kids. Made of four circular, microsuede-covered foam parts with a modern look that blends in with adult furniture, users aged 3 and up can “nest” in Chunk’s parts, roll them around, or reconfigure them for “open-ended play,” Baron says.

    Color amazing! Endless ways to play… AMAZING

    Got this for one of my classrooms and it is such a fun addition! The color is so bright and pretty and my preschoolers have had so much fun creating games and letting their imaginations run!

    My toddler literally plays with this all the time! She loves it and I love it too it looks like a very nice regular ottoman when she’s not playing with it and looks great in my living room

    Love our Chunk!

    Love our new Chunk! I was hesitant to buy it because I was worried that my kids are too old for it (5 & 7) but they still love their Nuggets so I bought it as part of their Christmas gift. It was a hit! They use it to play with their nuggets or just on its own. If not playing, they use as their reading nook. Highly recommend!

    Love this!

    We have our nugget in the play room and everyone in the family loves to use it. The kids didn’t have it a week before they had already gotten our moneys worth! It still looks brand new and it’s been very well loved for 6 ish months.
