Adventure zone

The Nugget® is for ages 1+ years old, and for exploration and adventure — it is not for sleeping! Adult supervision is required.

Keep it light

There should never be heavy items on top of the Nugget when someone is inside or underneath. Always ensure that no one is ever enclosed inside a Nugget product.

Stay open

Move your play furniture from the living room to the playroom to the kids’ room — just keep play in open spaces and away from stairs.

Frequently asked questions

I just opened my package, and I have an issue. What should I do?

Our team takes quality very seriously, and we're happy to help.

Every product comes with a limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects like seam tears, zipper issues, etc. If you open your item and find anything amiss, please take a photo of the concern, fill out our contact form, and our team will get back to you ASAP.

Please note that the following concerns must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the product:

Damaged or soiled product from transit
Missing items
Color mix up
Major damage like stains, rips, or punctures

How long does it take for that fresh foam smell (or "off-gassing") to fade?

Within a few hours! Most of this process has usually happened before a Nugget® product gets sent out, but sometimes, if the foam is particularly fresh, there might be a lingering scent (sometimes called off-gassing) when it's first opened. But we assure you this is a typical process and is totally safe! The smell should dissipate within a few hours at longest, and you’ll be on your way to fort-building fun!

In the meantime, we can assure you that all of our products are GREENGUARD Gold certified, which means they’ve been rigorously screened and scientifically tested for more than 15,000 VOCs, and they don’t emit any harmful chemicals. You can rest easy and play all day, knowing Nugget® products are safe for children, families, and the environment.

How long will it take my product to expand after I open it?

Because the Nugget® and Smore™travel to you in a tightly compressed package, we ask that you give the product one to two weeks after opening to fully pop back up to form. Foam is super malleable, so it's not uncommon for it to look a little wrinkly and smushed in certain places right after opening. However, it is 100% ready to be played with! We've found that playing with the product helps the foam find its original shape faster than it would otherwise.

Why… doesn’t it look like a normal chicken nugget?

Oh! Simple misunderstanding — this is a Nugget® play couch for creating and building, not eating. And no matter how picky your kid’s palette is, we can pretty much guarantee all kids love the foam-filled fun one we’re selling here.

Can I bring it on vacation with me?

The Nugget® play couch probably won’t fit in your checked baggage. But it should squish down into most large car trunks! It won’t, however, prevent your kids from asking “Are we there yet?” endlessly on the journey.

Is it too much fun?

If you live in a Footloose-type town, or have strict HOA giggle ordinances, it may be too much fun.

I am long time Nuggeteer! We bought our first one in 2019 and then almost immediately ordered a second because we knew that would double our fun. Last Christmas we surprised them with a Chunk and it has been a huge hit too. Additionally, I think the Chunk looks nice in my living room (we have the dark green.) We use it as an ottoman and little table all the time.
