Safety & Use
The Playtime Playbook
- Chunk is for ages 3+ years old for imagination, exploration, and adventure — not for sleeping!
- There should never be heavy items on top of Chunk when someone is inside or underneath.
- Push it, move it, or roll it from the living room to the playroom to the kids’ room — just keep play in open spaces, not on or around stairs, and use with caution on hard surfaces.

The creators of the famous Nugget®... have created the product’s little sister: an equally attractive, play-encouraging ottoman. “Real furniture can be a Trojan horse for a toy,” says Nugget CEO and co-founder David Baron.
Nugget’s products embrace that idea, extending an olive branch to kids. Made of four circular, microsuede-covered foam parts with a modern look that blends in with adult furniture, users aged 3 and up can “nest” in Chunk’s parts, roll them around, or reconfigure them for “open-ended play,” Baron says.

Form, function, and fun in just four foam pieces...
Pad: A large, thin foam piece that acts as the ottoman lid, the cushioned back of a Chunk chair, or a safe place to jump to when crossing a (pretend) river of lava.
Hoop: A strong and supportive foam ring makes up the outside of the ottoman, and may or may not be a portal to another dimension.
Pucks: Two smaller and thicker foam pieces that nest inside the hoop and can easily be removed for hundreds of uses, like stepping stones to your Nugget castle!

I gave this Blossom Chunk to my 4yo granddaughter and she, and her little sister, love it. I’d never heard of Nugget before, but my son requested it for a gift and I’m glad he did. The many ways to play with it makes it fun and interesting. It’s constructed very strong and should hold up to many, many years of play time. The baby sister, who is just learning to climb and stand, finds it easy to climb and stand at it. She can play with toys on it at a perfect level and I know that she is safety playing while she does. The size is perfect for climbing, sitting inside, rolling through and just having leisure time.
The only thing that is a question is the amount of staining that can happen with kids. I hope it’s as washable that it looks like it can be.

Such a great addition to our original Nugget in the same color. My 3-year old probably spends more time playing with this than the actual couch, he loves taking it apart, playing hide and seek, and rolling in the circle. It's super versatile!

We decided to replace our coffee table with a Chunk, and I am SO glad we did. This was an amazing purchase. Our toddler loves using it as a nest to chill inside with his stuffies, hiding inside it to scare us (haha), jumping into it, and climbing all over it. It's so nice having a place to rest our feet that he can't get hurt on, too. Thank goodness the covers are machine washable, because toddlers are messy little humans. We are strongly considering getting the liner set to protect it even better, and I could totally see us getting the regular Nugget at some point since the Chunk has been such a huge hit. I wasn't sure if I could believe the hype about this brand, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. If you're still on the fence, BUY THIS.
