It's official: We're on our annual Holiday Break!

Here we are again, at the end of another terrific year! Not only did we drop ten new Nugget® colors + patterns — we invented a whole new piece of award-winning play furniture. Chunk™ yeah, it was amazing!

So now we need a little rest. From December 24th-January 1st*, we’re taking an intentional, well-deserved break.

Our Holiday Break is an evergreen tradition — a response to the perennial stresses of working retail during peak gift-giving season. At Nugget, the holiday season is a happy whirlwind of activity!

Everyone at Nugget — from our CX squad to our production team all-stars — knows the pressure of getting work done when Nuggeteers are waiting for the best family gift to show up on their doorstep.

As we near the end of December, it's not uncommon for members of our team to be unsure of the day of the week, or be a liiiittle bit behind on wrapping presents of their own. (And yes, if you’re wondering, Team GG loves gifting Nuggets and Chunks to our own families, complete with giant bows. Wirecutter named it one of the best gifts to give a family for a reason!)

So when the holidays finally arrive, we are ready to power down the Beluga at HQ and take a full week-long break. It’s a time to hang out with family, catch up on sleep,finally finish that docuseries we started months ago... whatever. ABN: Anything But Nugget.

Not because we don't enjoy being full-time Nuggeteers, but because we want to bring our best selves to it all year 'round. And to do that, we all need a little bit of downtime post-holidays, to recharge our batteries.

Before we hit the lights, we wanted to say thank you for following along on our independently owned, play-furniture-fueled journey, and thanks most of all for giving our Nugget play furniture products a beloved place in your home.

*A couple of folks from our seasonal Customer team will be around to answer any urgent questions, but response times may be a bit slower this week, and orders will not ship during this time. We’ll resume production on January 2nd, 2025!
