Purchased the Nugget couch in the heartthrob color and I love the color. However, when I took it out of the box it had an awful fish smell that stunk up the entire house. I had to air it out over night and it still has a funky smell. Will be washing the sheets but it’s kind of annoying and a hassle since the kids were excited to use it right out of the box.

I am not what is wrong with my order. The product I received has very strong odor, both the cover and foam. I am not feeling comfortable to use it for my kid. The material of the cover also looks really cheap, different from the picture on the website. Not sure if mine is a defect or it is standard quality. Return is also not friendly, as long as you unpack the package, there is no way you can put it back for return.

The smell that sometimes comes from a Nugget right after unboxing is a part of the foam's normal off-gassing process. Most of this process typically happens before a Nugget gets sent out, but sometimes, if the foam is particularly fresh, there might be a slight scent when it's first opened. But you can be assured that this will dissipate within a few days.
We share on our site that Nuggets must remain unopened and unused to be eligible for return. However, all Nuggets are covered by a limited two-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects. If there's anything that our team can assist with, don't hesitate to send us a note at hq@nuggetcomfort.com.

Is there a product guarantee?
Yes! Our products were made for imagination, relaxation, and everything in between, which means that their zippers, seams, and handles should stand up to everyday use. Each Nugget® product comes with a limited warranty that covers certain manufacturing defects that functionally impair the look or use of your product. If you do come across a defect in your Nugget® product, please send 2-3 pictures of the issue through this form so we can help!
Is shipping really free?
Yes! Shipping is free for Nuggets headed to the contiguous United States.
Are Nugget products GREENGUARD Gold Certified?
Yes! All of our products are GREENGUARD Gold certified, which means they’ve been rigorously screened and scientifically tested for more than 15,000 VOCs. We pass the strictest requirements with flying colors, so our products don’t emit any harmful chemicals. You can rest easy and play all day, knowing Nugget® products are safe for children, families, and the environment.
How long can I leave the Nugget® in the box after it arrives?
The Nugget® can be stored in its box for up to eight weeks after delivery. Since it travels to you tightly compressed, it may take slightly longer to fluff up to form if it’s left in the box for a bit, but it will still be ready for play right away. Playing with the Nugget® helps it find its shape — and helps Nuggeteers get right to the fun!

Bold royal blue and soft turquoise are the principal colors of this very special Nugget, accompanied by charming details inspired by some of her most beloved sing-along songs. This Nugget comes in our double-brushed microsuede fabric which is brushed twice during production, resulting in a soft, luxe texture. Just add imagination!
