The Nugget® is The Original Play Couch™! It's infinitely configurable and made up of four foam pieces (base, cushion, and two triangle pillows) that come wrapped in a washable fabric cover in the color of your choice.

Chunk® is The World’s First Play Ottoman™. It’s made of four foam pieces (one strong hoop, one flexible pad, and two smaller pucks) that nest together to create a sleek and stylish ottoman, with a plethora of play possibilities packed inside! Chunk comes wrapped in a washable fabric cover in the color of your choice.

The Nugget® is 33" deep and 66" long in its standard couch configuration — the seat is 8.75" above the ground, and it's 22.25" high to the top of the pillows in the standard configuration. The Nugget box measures 15" x 15" x 34".

The whole Nugget weighs 27 lbs — that's the sum total of the base (12 lbs), the seat cushion (9 lbs), and the two triangle pillows (3 lbs each).

Chunk® is 33" wide, and the ottoman is 14.25" high in the standard configuration. Chunk's box measures 32" x 32" x 14".

One Chunk weighs 14 lbs — the sum total of the hoop (6 lbs), the flexible pad (4 lbs), and the two inner pucks (2 lbs each).

The cost of our products varies depending on their fabric covering. We currently offer three fabrics — original classic microsuede, luxe double-brushed microsuede, and cozy corduroy. The Nugget® is available in all three fabrics across 20+ colors, and Chunk is available in our microsuede and double-brushed microsuede fabrics in 10+ color options. Chunk® is not available in corduroy.

Yes! All of our products are GREENGUARD Gold certified, which means they’ve been rigorously screened and scientifically tested for more than 15,000 VOCs. We pass the strictest requirements with flying colors, so our products don’t emit any harmful chemicals. You can rest easy and play all day, knowing Nugget products are safe for children, families, and the environment.

Our products are made from a harmony of custom-shaped open-cell polyurethane foam, cloaked in soft and durable fabric to achieve that elusive "just right" feel.

Every Nugget® product is assembled one at a time in Butner, North Carolina at Nugget HQ. We use fabric sourced from Vietnam, China, and El Salvador, and foam produced in North Carolina.

The Nugget® is almost as versatile in storage as it is in use. Fold up the base and cushion (handles up) for stowing away in a closet, or flatten them out to slide under most beds (8.75" tall).

Chunk® is made of four foam pieces that nest together to create a sleek and stylish ottoman when not in use. It is 33” wide and 14.25” tall in its standard configuration.

Within a few hours! Most of this process has usually happened before a Nugget® gets sent out, but sometimes, if the foam is particularly fresh, there might be a lingering scent (sometimes called off-gassing) when it's first opened. But we assure you this is a typical process and is totally safe! The smell should dissipate within a few hours at longest, and you’ll be on your way to fort-building fun!
