The Ms. Rachel™ Nugget® is here! Shop now

2025 was our year to turn up the fun. A brand new Nuggety mascot joined Team GG, we launched a book club, and we made some space on our trophy shelf. DJ, press play on the highlight reel — here’s 2025 by the numbers.

96: The number of times your kid has requested “Hop Little Bunnies” (just us?) since you got the Ms. Rachel™ Nugget® — our exclusive collaboration inspired by the many songs of Ms. Rachel! We got to work with Ms. Rachel and Mr. Aron to bring this musically inspired design to life for the countless Nuggeteers who love to sing along. Denim overalls and headband sold separately.

177: The number of minutes we spent learning how to use books and storytime to spark meaningful conversations about race, through our Talk Starters book club. We loved featuring books from our friends at A Kids Co. to navigate our kids’ tough questions about the world today. Catch the replays here and relive every great minute.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our fave new podcast, Raising Us (sponsored by Nugget®!) from A Kids. Co and award-winning journalist Elise Hu.

30%: The percentage of Team GG who could read our Magic Eye-inspired hint letting y’all know we were bringing back our fan-favorite rainbow pattern, Paintbox. (Yes, one of our talented designers made that IG clue herself.) And we had a triple rainbow surprise in store, because this year we released Paintbox in Chunk® — and in the Mini Nugget®, too! In total, we dropped eight colors and patterns this year —  Heartthrob, Waterslide, Gumball, Paintbox, Cottontail & Kodiak, Catwalk, and Ms. Rachel

2: The number of times our products have won the (coveted!!) Good Housekeeping Parenting Award. Our beloved Chunk® play ottoman took home the hardware this year, after the Nugget® nabbed it in 2024. The accolades kept rolling in for playtime’s most iconic duo, with the Nugget claiming an award from theSkimm’s Moms Who Get It and Chunk earning a spot in The Strategist 100 Toy Store — their absolute favorite toys.

3,544: The reading on your car odometer if you were to roadtrip across America and visit all of our Shop Small partners. Nugget has grown a lot since 2014, but our love of small business is bigger than ever. You can now play with our products IRL in Seattle; Salt Lake City; Lincoln, Nebraska; Atlanta; Charleston & Summerville, South Carolina; and Washington DC.

130: Number of snacks pilfered from the Nugget HQ fridges by none other than the Chunk Gnome. We introduced this jolly little fellow to the Nuggetverse in January, and he immediately bonded with Nug Fairy over their shared love of surprising and delighting Nuggeteers who spread kindness and humor in the comments.

75+: The number of sneaky references to Nugget colors in this Nugget HQ Scavenger Hunt digital print. How many can you find?

1965: The year the federal government established Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act to provide federal funding to local school districts with high concentrations of low-income families. Nearly all school districts in the U.S. (95%!) are eligible for some level of Title I funding. This year, we kicked off the school year by donating part of the proceeds from a retro Cover Set sale to Title I schools in our own backyards in Durham and Atlanta.

660: The total number of possible color combinations when you build a Big Orange Box Set bundle*! This year, we introduced a new way to play with our bundling options. Now, you can bundle two Nugget play couches or a Nugget + Chunk to save 10%. Having trouble deciding on the PERFECT color combo? We get it. There are, as stated, 660 possible combinations. Unfortunately for the indecisive, they’re all fun and stylish.

*As of this writing. We beg you to not double check our math on this. Our copywriter is clever, but she is not a professional mathematician.

1: How many individual interlocking loops did it take to crochet the Crochet Cover Sets for the Nugget and Chunk? We haven’t got the foggiest idea. How many did we make in total? Just one! This wooly wonder was Nugget’s April Fool’s Day joke for 2025 — did we fool you? No? Oh darn! There’s always next year.

If you loved this round-up, we highly recommend checking out previous “By the Number” editions below. See you in 2026!

A quick logistical note: We’ll be away from the office and production floor from December 24 to January 1 for Nugget's annual holiday break. We give our team this time off to rest, play, and grow their own imaginations with their loved ones after a busy holiday season. A few folks from our Customer team will be around to answer urgent questions, and we’ll continue shipping orders during this time with the help of a small-but-mighty crew of Warehouse teammates. Happy Holidays!
