The gifting season is here! And if there’s ever been a year to be extra purposeful about where your dollars go, we at Nugget believe that it’s this one. Local small businesses in the U.S were already under pressure prior to the pandemic, struggling to adapt to a growing online world and facing lower margins amid a plethora of competitors. With COVID-19 bringing down foot traffic and introducing unprecedented new health guidelines, it only got tougher for retail storefronts and boutiques to stay afloat. Unfortunately, many did not even make it to see this holiday season.
If you are a customer blessed with the ability and access to be able to support a small business instead of a retail giant this year, we’ve put together a great gifting guide of Certified Nuggety selections just for you. We're also highlighting a handful of stores you may recognize from our recent One-Stop Shops feature, where we've popped up and debuted new Nugget colors at businesses around the country! If you don't live near these stores, don't worry — we've included links for you to shop them from afar. Also, if you'd like to support an indie retailer in your neighborhood, go for it! They may have some of these products too.
At Nugget HQ, we’re being extra intentional about sharing the stores and stories of children’s boutiques that make our communities so special. The following products are great for kids, built to last, and built to look good in your home — just like a Nugget! Happy holidays, and happy gifting.
